The Lord said to Moses, “Is the Lord’s power limited? Now you shall see whether My word will come true for you or not.” Numbers 11: 23

Many people believe in miracles that happened way back in Bible times . . . but do not believe in modern-day miracles. They simply have no faith that they still happen today! But to deny the possibility of miracles is to discredit the Bible. When we pray for help, and God intervenes on our behalf, why is it that we have trouble giving Him the credit? We excuse it away as a coincidence or rationalize how it could have happened anyway. When we do this, we are the same as a thief and a robber, because we are stealing God’s glory. Instead of questioning—we need to praise God for His goodness and mercy. We should fall down on our knees and truly give thanks for the privilege of witnessing God’s power! One of the ways that God reveals Himself to us is through miracles! It is often in our darkest hour when we cry out to Him, acknowledging Him as our Lord and Savior, that we experience His divine intervention. Pray often and pray passionately—expecting an answer, because God is still on His throne and in the miracle-making business today!
