“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” Acts 3: 19 No one is perfect! The Bible says in Romans 3: 23
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We would be eternally lost except for Christ’s incredible sacrifice on Calvary where He paid the price for our sins! In return, He wants us to commit our lives to Him. God has given us a standard of perfection to live by in John 14: 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” There’s no mistaking how God wants us to live! He knows we are human, and there are times when we will make mistakes, so He has made provision for us. We can claim His promise in 1 John 1: 9“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” That doesn’t mean go and sin all we want, and as long as we ask God to forgive us, we can sin the same sins over and over again with no consequences!
