The race is not to the swift but for the strong. I feel this scripture is necessary to mention at the very beginning of this post because though we’ve had countless posts and ideas for JN over the years, new content hasn’t been shared. Yes despite the lack of new and fresh posts, we won’t give up, we won’t shut down because it’s not about me it’s about the one who does all things well. If I am to share with you the love of God and the mercy of God you will be in awe of his wonders. For example it was the height of covid and I recalled my cousin sending me hundreds of dollars out of no where, we hadn’t spoken and she didn’t know my needs, yet she just gave what she had from her stimulus check and I was floored. I look at that as a blessing from God because we live in such a world where even family & friends are often unwilling and sometimes unable to help. As we move forward into this new decade I have to remind myself daily that the Bible says the following to us over and over; to have Faith in God (Mark 11:22 / Proverbs 3:5-6 / Hebrews 11:6), remember who you are (2 Corinthians 5:17 / Ephesians 2:10) and know you are chosen.
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
