Jesus wanted us to learn, to love one another regardless of race, gender, education, wealth or anything else – we are to love one another and treat each other the way we’d want to be treated if in their situation.
The 10 commandments are all about LOVE when you break it down.
The first four deal with love for God, the last six deal with love for your fellow man. As I close this week’s lessons, here are two things to remember – First, How we treat others dictates how God will treat us. The bible says – whatever measure you use to judge someone, that same measure will be used to judge you (Matt 7:2, Mark 4:24, and Luke 6:38).
Lastly, like Job, we are but a breath away from a disaster that will put us at the mercy of people around us. So, when you come across the less fortunate or those who are going through rough times – remember – if not for the grace of God, that could be you. Blessings.
“It is not earthly rank, nor birth, nor nationality, nor religious privilege, which proves that we are members of the family of God; it is love, a love that embraces all humanity.”
