Reflection of Joshua Network 2012

Well, where can I start? I have to say it has been thus far this year, an interesting experience being involved in the ministry. I can recall the vision being born and the significance of the name Joshua. We know names speak volumes, knowingly the name Joshua means “He saves“, is indeed a reminder for us all that He saves. I do know that ministry does save not only others but ourselves. I recalled the challenges that were faced and the deadlines that had to be met, the hurdles that we had to leap along the journeys of this ministry. As a Canadian, I would not ever think I would be involved in a ministry based in the United States. So, what I learned from that was, our God is limitless beyond boundaries.

Although, Joshua Network had some hiccups here and there, and yet still throughout the mountains and valleys, God has always intervened. Jesus comes to mind when He says that if we have faith as little as a mustard seed, we can indeed move mountains. He sure did alright, in every step of the way.  From the Food for Life shows, to the visitations and the reaching out, from the official launching of the network earlier this year, His glory was manifested.  Let us not forget, our first annual retreat this summer which was a blessing in and of itself, and out of this experience the outreach and the  divine appointments held in New York.

God knew that He would hold us back from having our retreat in another state, but as usual He always had something bigger up His sleeve for us. We had the privilege to meet and minister unto many individuals who needed to hear messages of hope, healing and happiness, but also had the privilege to meet with a bible worker in the North Bronx Sda church, who gave us further advice in terms of  being recognized as a ministry.

We look forward to what will be in store for us in 2013 and onwards  by His grace, and as we anticipate His soon coming, we anticipate to grow as individuals and as a team, as we network with other like minded individuals, and to those who thirst and desire to have Christ as their best friend. We desire to put to fruition, the counsels outlined in Habakkuk 2:2-4, where it refers to writing the vision and making it plain, for we know the vision shall speak, and by faith it will come to pass, and that the just will live by faith.

By faith Joshua Network was born, its purpose, its goal, and by faith we desire to finish the work and hasten His soon coming through the gifts that God has entrusted to each of us so that, as a team, it will be a blessing to all, for He saves.

The best is yet to come, keep us, this ministry, and our future projects and current ones in your prayers and we thank you for your continual support.
