“For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people.” 1 Samuel 12: 22
Most of us have insecurities that we live with. We look in the mirror and wish God had created us differently. We don’t like the shape of our nose or wish we had smaller ears or flawless skin. We fret that we’re not smart enough, rich enough, educated enough, lovable enough, and the list goes on and on. In fact, we worry more about what others think of us than what God thinks. The good news is, we don’t have to let our insecurities shape our lives. We can place our faith in God and trust in His opinion! After all, He created us in His image! We can go forward with boldness and confidence, ready to take on whatever assignment God wants to give us . . . and we don’t have to wonder if we are good enough, because in God’s eyes . . . we are perfect!
