“The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1: 9
“God created man and woman and sanctified the bond of marriage. When God sanctifies something, He makes it holy. Through the bonds of matrimony, God teaches lessons on faithfulness, trust, love, humility, service, gentleness, and much more, refining our characters for heaven! Having said that, though . . . it is not God’s plan that everyone should marry. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 7: 8 -9 (NKJV), “But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am; but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry.” There are some who are singleby their own choice or as part of God’s plan for their lives. Others may be divorced or widowed. If you are single for whatever reason, you may be surprised to learn that you are in a highly-favored position. God says that He’s the One who will provide for you and defend you. You can look to our Lord and Savior for love and companionship! He’s more faithful and wise than any human spouse. So whether you are married or single, rejoice in the Lord always! Seek His perfect plan for your life . . . and serve God with all your heart!”
